Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog!
Yesterday was National Scrapbook Day (or even International). It’s been a long time since I’ve scrapbooked. I was a very avid scrapbooker before we had the kids and a friend prompted me to do a live to celebrate National Scrapbook Day. I’m so grateful that she did. I really loved making this two page spread:

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]
I created this layout for a set of family portraits we had taken in 2018. We don’t have many professional portrait sessions and I thought these photos deserved to have a beautiful layout. I use Smokey Slate cardstock to represent the photographs in the layouts because I feel a bit funny sharing personal photos so publicly.
You can see how I created these layout by watching the recording of the live video:

The Bird Ballad DSP really adds to this layout. I’ve tried to make the photos the “heroes” of the layout and leave some place for journaling.

The photo above gives you an idea on how the two page spread works together. In the video I explain a lot about the elements and repetitions of colours are used to tie the two pages.
I’m taking a pause on my Facebook Lives for the first two weeks in November 2023. Make sure you like my Facebook Page so that you can get notifications on when I will be going live. The lives will resume and will become Mystery Stamping! Looking forward to you joining me.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope today’s project has inspired you to get creative and try something new.
Until next time,
Tatiana
