Ink Pad Storage

Ink Pad Storage

Today I wanted to share how I’m currently storing my Stampin’ Up!® ink pads. I did a demonstration on Facebook Live this morning, if you missed me live it’s all good as the video is on my Facebook page or you can scroll down further to the bottom of this blog post to view the video.

The original idea and measurements came from Carolin Wörle’s blog post. I did need to use Google Translate to understand the measurements. I just loved how she created hers to fit into the ikea storage shelves. As I don’t currently have any permanent storage for my craft supplies I though having something simple in the mean time would be a great idea. So here’s my growing collection of ink pads in their nifty storage box:

To create the little shelves in the box I used an A4 piece of cardstock and scored lines parallel to the shorter side at 2cm, 12cm, 14cm, 24cm and then cut the piece of cardstock to be 26cm long. I then cut this in half parallel to the long side at 10.5cm. Fold and glue together. Here is a step by step in photos:

I hope that the following picture helps you with the cutting and scoring:

Hi Cynthia! Thanks for stopping by my blog! The box I’m using is a gift box which I purchased from a $2.00 store. It is approximately 30.5cm x 21cm (12″ x 8 1/4″). This is the box size. The boxes are often sold with lids which would be slightly larger. I have discarded the lids. I hope this helps you 🙂

The new style ink pads fit in too! They have a bit more room in there but still works nicely!

Hi Frenchie, Thank you for visiting my blog. The imperial measurements would be:

      Score at 13/16″, 4 16/16″, 5 10/16″ and 9 10/16
Cut the length to be 10 7/16″
then cut in half at 4 1/4″
