Artisan Tip & Technique – Lining Up Playful Alphabet

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. This is my last Artisan post!!! As part of my Artisan duties I had to share a Tip & Technique. For this one I’m sharing how to easily line up alphabet dies on your scrapbook pages (or even cards!). I did create a scrapbook page to share this technique with, I thought it would be fun to scrapbook some of my Hobbiton Movie Set photos. I had the opportunity to visit in 2019 while I was in Auckland for OnStage.

Step 1:

Create a guide by cutting the ruler edge off grid paper. I recommend having 1/2” of grids above the ruler. Cover the guide in Window Sheet adhering with Tear & Tape adhesive. This will allow you to use the guide over and over again.

Step 2:

Die cut your title and add Multipurpose Liquid glue to the back. Allow this to completely dry before the next step.

Step 3:

Align your title to the guide with 2/3 of it hanging off the edge of the guide.

Step 4:

Use the guide to position the title exactly where you want it and press on the top two thirds to adhere and then remove the guide. The adhesive is a removable bond, and if you’re not happy you can lift and try again.
