Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. I’m so excited to share with you this fun project. The Artisan Design Team each was assigned different DSP packs and we had to create samples that focused on the DSP. Soon after I got my DSP (the gorgeous You’re A Peach) by Little Miss (aka my Mini Me) brought home from the school library some Origami Books. What she didn’t know was that when I was just older than her I started to get into origami. Okay I was obsessed. I saw in her book a fun alternative lid to boxes I new all to well to make and what I loved about this alternative was that it showed off both sides of the paper! Perfect for DSP when you can’t decide which side to use!

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]
I finished off the box with some of the adorable Pale Papaya & White Woven Ribbon and a tag. To make the tag I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies, cut one layer from the DSP and another in White Vellum. I joined the two with some White Twine. I white heat embossed the sentiment onto the Vellum layer and added a fussy cut peach from the DSP.

For the base of the box I used the other sheet of the same DSP but make the strips be the outside, makes it really coordinate!
The lid is called a star masu box, and the box is the masu box. If you are new to origami I recommend you start with making the base (masu box) a few time to learn how they are made before trying the star masu box.
You can follow my mini tutorial on how to fold the lid and the box:
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope today’s project has inspired you to get creative and try something new.
Until next time,
Tatiana
