This is my final post for OnStage 2018 Sydney. All of the experience wouldn’t be the same with out all the demonstrators. There were approximately 600 stampers gathered at OnStage in Sydney! Isn’t that just amazing! The room was just filled with positivity and creativity and support. We all are there to Love It. Live It. Share It. I feel lucky to be able to share it with my upline Michelle Mathwin and one other of her direct team members Cyndi Govan.
I did spend most of my precious hours at OnStage talking and meeting other demonstrators. Since October 2017 I’ve been a part of Kylie Bertucci’s Go For Greece Demonstrator training group. It has been so wonderful to be a part of that group to learn and to grow, not just as a demonstrator but also as a person. Kylie is such a beautiful person and I finally got to meet her!
Soon after my arrival during the second Make & Take session, I need to find some fellow demonstrators and I bumped into Sara Douglas (CEO of Stampin’ Up!) and she greeted me like an old friend and was so happy to see that I had made it to the event. I had told her about being late at our lunch on Thursday (read about the lunch here). Sara was so lovely in obliging me with another photo with her, because the number I have just isn’t enough!
At the end of OnStage I made sure that my upline Michelle and I got a photo with Sara too. I was surprised how few people where in that line!
During my catch up session Vicky Griffith found me. Vicky was one of the other lucky demonstrators who got to have lunch with Sara. This time Vicky brought tears to my eyes, she gifted me a framed picture of Sara and I with some of the special 30th anniversary branding and signed by Sara! Vicky, if you are reading this, you are the most thoughtful and generous person I have known. This is a very special keep sake and I cannot thank you enough for it!
I did become a bit of a shadow celebrity carrying that beautiful gift around. It really made me feel so special. During this time I was able to give out my Swaps (click here to see what I made). I hadn’t expected people to have any swaps left so late in the day, but there were a few and they’re all so gorgeous!
So many cleaver demonstrators out there. It really is an amazing community and I feel so blessed to be a part of it. It really has changed me for the better. If you want to be able to go to the OnStage in November (on Saturday 10th November 2018 in Melbourne and Brisbane) think about joining my team We would have an amazing time together and you will make lots of wonderful friends.
