Honestly, I do not know where to start with this blog post! It has been a massive weekend with both Orthodox Easter (Pascha) and with OnStage 2018 in Sydney! I’m still flying high from lunch with Sara Douglass on Thursday and now mix in some Pascha Joy and OnStage Excitement and you have me!
What I’m to do, is share all the OnStage excitement with you all in a number of blog posts. Otherwise this would be one MASSIVE post! So much to share with you!
Part 1 – this post all about the goodies I got and the Make & Takes <— You are here!
Part 2 – all the display boards from OnStage
Part 3 – about the retiring colours
Part 4 – about the friendship of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators
Firstly, in case you are new to the Stampin’ Up!® world I shall explain that OnStage is a biannual event for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators. It is held in multiple locations across all market areas where Stampin’ Up! is sold. In the South Pacific Market (Australia, New Zealand & Japan) it was held in Perth, Auckland, and Sydney. I attended the Sydney event on Saturday. I was very late. It starts at 8am but I arrived at 2pm. I figured better late than never!
Sydney’s OnStage was held at Luna Park and I’ve never actually been there so I was quite excited to visit. My son has been talking about it so I did feel a little bad that I went without him, but honestly I wasn’t there for the rides! Upon arrival demonstrators get a bag (I got mine at the end of the day). The very adorable bag contains our name badge, a prize patrol number, a new stamp set and this year we all got a very cute light box which I’m already putting to good use.
Inside the room there were oval tables set up for 8 people and everyone got a lovely notebook with some pens. I loved my notebook from OnStage 2017 in Melbourne so I couldn’t wait to get the new one. Every table had a different colour theme and this was reflected in the decoration on the table and the colour of the notebook cover. My table was blue.
The notebook is divided into three sections:
Across the day there are prize patrols – a number is drawn and everyone who has that number gets a stamp set from the new catalogue! How fun is that! Also during the day we all get to do four make & takes. I was late for the first two make & takes but my lovely upline Michelle was kind enough to stamp mine so that they were ready for me to assemble. I will admit I did spend the make & take time that I was there meeting new friends so Michelle was so sweet to stamp those too!
Make & Takes are always fun and these were all very different from each other!
The best part of the day is when we get the brand NEW 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue! I’m just in love love love love with the cover! This catalogue is very special because its the 30 year anniversary catalogue. Do you want to see it? Well I can only show you the cover for now:
How beautiful is that! It has so many wonderful new products in it! As an attendee of OnStage I do get a Product Purchase Premiere! I have already placed my order of brand new products!! I’m so excited, as I’ve already got notification to say it’s on it’s way!!!! Later this month all demonstrators will get to purchase products from a suite as part of an Early Release and then in May selected pre order products. Customers will have to wait till 1st of June!
