Hello everybody,
Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing a card with a really fun technique. I’m not really sure what to call this technique as it is more than just stamping using markers. For now I’ve called it Watercolour Marker Stamping. Let me know in the comments what you think or maybe you even know what it’s called. I created it with the stamp set I received from Stampin’ Up!® as part of my On Tour registration. On Tour is a demonstrator only event held on various dates across April. We were encouraged to make samples and share – as if I needed an excuse to stamp!

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]

I created this card during Creativity Time live video. You can watch the recording and learn how I created this card:

During the video I suggested that this technique would work best with watercolor paper. I did give it a go with the Shimmery White and I have to say it works just as well. The ink may not spread as much but you get a slightly crisper stamping of the sentiment. Honestly I don’t think there’s too much difference. The photo above shows the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper on the left and the Shimmer White on the right. Do you see much difference?
I’m taking a pause on my Facebook Lives for the first two weeks in November 2023. Make sure you like my Facebook Page so that you can get notifications on when I will be going live. The lives will resume and will become Mystery Stamping! Looking forward to you joining me.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope today’s project has inspired you to get creative and try something new.
Until next time,
Tatiana
