Hello! I know it’s been a long time. It has been crazy in our household for last few months. Term 3 of school started with my husband having surgery on his ankle (he is all better now and back to full duties at work) and ended with news that in January we will be relocating to Sydney in January 2018. Big changes for all of us in the months ahead. The thing that has kept me going has been card making. August starts the birthday season in our extended family.
Tonight I’m holding my first Christmas Card Class, and tonight we are using the new Watercolor Christmas Kit from the 2017 Holiday Catalogue. It is just so beautiful with gold accents. I know that tonight we all will have a great time. The project kit comes with everything you need except for the stamp set, ink and adhesive to make 20 cards in four designs. My recommended adhesives are below. Aren’t the cards just gorgeous?
All cards come with envelopes and gold envelope liners. This is my first experience with them and I thought I’d share my tip on using them. I found that the liners are not pre scored for folding. Using my Stampin’ Trimmer I scored a line 11cm from the base of the liner. This makes closing the envelope so much easier. First picture is of the envelope liner before I scored it.
Stampin’ Up! has a great video of the project kit:
