Sweets & Treats for Global Creative Inkspirations

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog! Today I’m blog hopping with the Global Creative INKspirations team and we are bringing you INKspiration from the July – December Mini Catalogue. We’re all using our favourite product. For me this is the Sweet & Treats stamp set. I have such a sweet tooth and am immediately attracted to any stamp set that has dessert! LOL. It’s also why I’ve gone Sugar Free in September and to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy. You can donate to my efforts (24 days of NO sugar) by clicking here. Now to the crafting, here’s the card I created and this is also my customer thank you cards for those who ordered in August:

Card Details:

• Card Base: Balmy Blue
• Card Front: Balmy Blue (9.5 x 13.8 cm)
• Sentiment Label: Mint Macaron using the Seasonal Labels Dies

• To create the cupcake background, stamp in versamark the cupcake all over the card front. I then clear heat embossed it. If you want a more subtle look skip the heat embossing. I then added some shadows around each cupcake by using the smallest Water Painter and some Balmy Blue ink. Finally I blended with a Blending Brush around the edges in Balmy Blue. Adhere to card base.
• Onto the Mint Macaron sentiment label I white heat embossed the sentiment.
• Stamp in Memento ink three cupcakes onto Basic White cardstock and fussy cut out.
• Adhere one cupcake to the card, one onto of the sentiment label, and one behind the sentiment label. There the sentiment label with Stampin’ Dimensions.
• To complete add some Cute Stars Adhesive Backed Sequins.

To complete the project I stamped in Balmy Blue the cupcakes on the envelope flap and inside the card. I also decorated the customer gifts with a little tag.
