Sweet As A Peach – Artisan Showcase

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing my July Artisan showcase (I know it’s August already lol), featuring the Sweet As A Peach bundle. When I saw this bundle in the 2021 Annual Catalogue it really intrigued me. It’s so cute and there are so many possibilities for it! We were instructed to create samples that do not use the You’re A Peach DSP. With this in mind I used the Pattern Party Host DSP. I LOVE the Misty Moonlight sheets in the pack and I thought it would be perfect to make those peaches POP.

Thanks So Much Card Details:

The concept of this card is the different stages of the peach bloom. At our old place we had a peach tree and I loved seeing the peach blooms bloom, then the tree would start growing leaves and then the fruit would develop. (Oh as a side note, we never got to enjoy any peaches because the birds got to them before we did, so this card will be safe from that!).

Card Base: Misty Moonlight
DSP on card front: Pattern Party Host DSP die cut with Stitches So Sweetly Dies
Sentiment Label: Basic White, die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies but extended to fit the whole sentiment.

Stamp and then die cut the following:
- two sets of blossoms in Blushing Bride with centres stamped in Melon Mambo
- two sets of leaves in Just Jade
- one set of peaches in Mango Melody with Calypso Coral dapped on with a Sponge Dauber
From Cinnamon Cider cardstock with adhesive sheet on the back, die cut out three branches
Add two of the branches over the leaves stamps.
Adhere the DSP diet cuts to the card base spacing them evenly.
Onto the top DSP panel add the branch die cut without the leaves. To the next two DSP panels add the leaves and branches.
To the top & middle branches add three blossoms
To the bottom branch add the peaches.
Stamp the sentiment in Mango Melody with Calypso Coral sponged on a bit. Then die cut out and extend the die but partial die cutting and then moving it to cut the second half.
Adhere the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Finish off by adding some Artistry Blooms Sequins

To finish off this card, I stamped the envelope with some leaves and blossoms. Inside the card I added a large peach (stamped in Mango Melody with Calypso Coral dabbed on) with leaves and the sentiment stamped onto the peach in Cinnamon Cider.

Have A Peachy Day Card Details:

Card Base: Misty Moonlight
Card Front: Pattern Party Host DSP (10 x 14.3 cm)
Vellum: die cut using Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Basic White panel: die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies

Onto the Basic White panel stamp the leaves in second generation Just Jade ink. Then position the blossoms over it and stamp in second generation Blushing Bride but centres in second generation Melon Mambo.
On a piece of extra Basic White cardstock stamp the peach leaves in Just Jade, and the peach in Mango Melody, adding some highlights in Calypso Coral to get more depth and peach feel. Then stamp the sentiment on top using Cinnamon Cider ink. Die cut out.
Place the Vellum onto off the DSP onto the card base. I have my vellum placed more to the top left corner.
Add the Basic White blossom panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card base. Add the sentiment peach with leaves on top.
Finish by adding Artistry Blooms Sequins.

To finish this card I stamped the peach onto the envelope flap and some blossoms with leaves on the inside of the card.
