Hello everybody!
Welcome to another Global Creative INKspirations Blog Hop. This month we are INKspiring with our favourite Sale-A-Bration products. For me the Summer Shadows Dies really stood out in the Sale-A-Bration brochure. What I loved about these dies was their coordination with the Shades Summer stamp set from the 2021 – 2022 Annual catalogue. I hadn’t purchased the Shaded Summer yet but it was on my wish list so I had to order it. I also LOVE a sample from the annual catalogue that was created with Shaded Summer. I used this sample as inspiration for the card I’m sharing today:

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]
Card Details:
- Card Base: Petal Pink
- Card Front: Petal Pink (10 x 14.3 cm)
- Sentiment Label: Night Of Navy die cut with Painted Labels Dies
- Die cut both layers of the flowers and leaves from the Summer Shadow Dies. If you want you can add some Adhesive Sheets to the back of the top layer (more detailed) die cuts. Layer them and then arrange onto the the card front.
- On a piece of Basic White stamp one of the floral images from Shaded Summer using Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in the stamp. I used Calypso Coral & Misty Moonlight for the flowers, and Pear Pizzaz for the leaves and greenery. Die cut out using the coordinating die. Adhere to card front over the die cuts.
- Wrap around some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the card front and tie a bow. Adhere to the card base.
- Stamp the sentiment in Versamark and heat emboss with white embossing powder. TIP: stamp and heat set first then die cut out.
- From the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper die cut out the pretty semi circle border. Add behind the bottom edge of the sentiment label and adhere to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Because it’s so much fun to colour in your stamps I stamped coloured in flowers on the inside and on the back of the envelope. TIP: it can take some time to colour such a large image. Colour it all in and then quickly and gently breath over the stamp before stamping. This moisten the ink and allows for a better impression.
I am so in love with the sample from the 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalogue, that I had to create one for myself. I didn’t have the Subtle 6″x6″ DSP that they used, so just used some Petal Pink card stock. Note that I used all the same products from the sample so that both cards can easily be made if you shop the supplies!

Now please hop on over for some more Sale-A-Bration INKspirations by visiting Danielle from the Netherlands and Angie from America.
