Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing with you a card I created for the July 2022 Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge – Flower Power! This challenge was right up my alley. I love flowers. The hardest part was deciding which floral stamp set I would like to use. You can join the challenge too, when you create a flower power project of your own, share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenge in your post.
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Card Details:
- Card Base: Basic White Thick cardstock (14.85 x 21cm scored 10.5cm from the top)
- Card Front: 2022-2024 In Color DSP (10 x 14.35cm) and Basic White cardstock die cut with Deckled Rectangles Dies
- Stamp the outline of the flower group from Hand-Penned Petals stamp set in Memento Ink onto some Basic White cardstock.
- Colour the flowers using the provided stamps. To colour the leaves I inked them in Coastal Cabana and then applied some Bermuda Bay with a Sponge Dauber to the bottom of the leaf.
- The small flowers I inked in Orchid Oasis.
- The larger flowers I stamped in Polished Pink, and then stamped the smaller flower over top in second generation (stamped off) Sweet Sorbet ink.
- Die cut out using the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies.
- Stamp the stripy tea cup from Cup Of Tea stamp set in Orchid Oasis. Die Cut out using the coordinating die from Tea Cup Dies.
- Using a Blending Brush ink some Orchid Oasis onto the top left of the tea cup to create a shadow from the flowers.
- Assemble the card according to the picture and finish off by adding some Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
I created this card both for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge and for my customers as a thank you for their purchase. I like to finish off cards by stamping on the envelope and inside the card. Customers who purchase $50 or more also receive a small gift from me. I like to decorate the gift to coordinate with the card.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.
Bye for now!
