For today’s card I thought it would be fun to combine my favourite new colour with one of my favourite new stamp sets from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. Rococo Rose and It Starts With Art:

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]

The layout was inspired by a card by Nikki Spencer, but I wanted to keep the colour on the card to a minimum so I stuck to Gray Granite (which I find is a grey with a pink tone to it) and Rococo Rose. I used the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter to blend the light colour Stampin’ Blends marker into the white card stock. This gave a subtle colour to the crafty elements.
To create the ink splatter on the background use a Stampin’ Write Marker – the brush tip and flick it using the lid. I’ve wanted to try this for so long but totally forgot about it!

I just love the “Let’s stay up late and craft” sentiment in this stamp set. It fits perfectly in the bobbin die.

As I like to, I decorated the inside of the card and the envelope, I decided simple was best for this. I decided to use Rococo Rose ink for this to really tie to the colour theme together.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope today’s project has inspired you to get creative and try something new.
Until next time,
Tatiana
