Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing the cards I created for the November Artisan Design Team Showcase. I was assigned the Peaceful Place Suite. This suite is very monotoned grey and black and works really well with adding any colour to it. My initial thoughts were blues or Coastal Cabana because blue and silver is such a classic combination. But, this year I’ve really been enjoying non traditional Christmas combinations and thought I’d try combining the greys with pink. I’m very pleased with the final results:

Your Kindness Card Details:

- Card Base: Polished Pink (portrait)
- Card Front: Peaceful Place Specialty DSP (10 x 14.8 cm)
- Sentiment Strip: Polished Pink (10 x 2.5 cm)
- Adhere the DSP onto the the card base.
- Silver heat emboss the sentiment onto the strip. TIP: Heat emboss the sentiment and then cut it to size. This way you can make it straight and aligned just as you desire.
- Die cut out the pine trees from Snowy White. Water colour the die cut using the Water Painters and ink from the Polished Pink ink pad or an ink refill. Allow to dry. Then add to some Foam Adhesive to add to the card.
- Add the sentiment and some matt silver Subtle Shimmer Sequins.

Peace Card Details:

- Card Base: Smoky Slate (portrait)
- Card Front: Basic White (8.5 x 12.85 cm) and Polished Pink embossed with Timber 2D Embossing Folder (8.2 x 12.55 cm)
- Sentiment Label: Basic White die cut from Tasteful Labels Dies
- Layer the two card fronts but do not add to the card base.
- Silver heat emboss the pine trees twice on some Basic White cardstock. Die cut out. Adhere one set with just the two pine trees together to the card fronts positioning it so that it will be in the gap of the two & one pine cones of the second set. Add the second set onto using Foam Adhesive Sheets.
- Adhere the card front to the card base.
- Stamp the sentiment in Polished Pink and add to the card.
- To finish off add some matt white Subtle Shimmer Sequins.

What colours will you try to combine the Peaceful Place Suite?
