One Punch, Three Cards

I hope that everyone had a lovely weekend. I did with my family, celebrating mother’s day. I had to force myself to pick an activity outside the house so that I wouldn’t spend the day making cards. Hehehe. I made these cards last week using the brand new up coming Varied Vases Bundle by Stampin’ Up!®. I love that as a demonstrator I was able to purchase this one early. I wanted to get it because I love orchids and this has a beautiful orchid stamp as well as many other flowers. It’s also a special stamp set because it was designed by a demonstrator celebrating her 1,000,000,000 sales achievement. How cool is that!

This stamp set coordinates with a punch which has three vases and a tulip. For these cards I wanted to focus on the vases only and it was great that I could stamp all three at once and then punch them out at the same time. I decided to use Fresh Fig for the vases because its not a colour I often use, but it does go well with Berry Burst which is one of my favourites.

Once I assembled the card I thought that it needed a bit more colour so I stamped the sentiments of strips of Lemon Lime Twist, which really finished off the card well. The sentiments in this stamp set are delightful. I really love the pretty font. I’m also currently a bit obsessed with the new Whisper White Polka Dot Tule Ribbon, so I made little bows to put on the vases just because I can. These are very quick and easy cards to make.
