After my Creativity Time video on Facebook on Wednesday, I felt like re-creating another of of the catalogue examples using the Free As A Bird stamp set. This one you will find on page 8 of the catalogue:

There are two things that attracted me to this card, the first was the no line colour look of the birds. This technique is very fun to do. You stamp the image is very pale ink – I used Smoky Slate but I stamped it off twice before stamping the third image onto my card stock. Then you use the faint lines from the stamping to guide your colouring. The end result should look like you drew it all from scratch
The other aspect of this card was the way the Stitched Nested Label dies were used. The small one in Crumb Cake was cut in half and put behind the larger Whisper White one. Some punched out Sprigs in Mint Macaron really add some lovely texture to the final product:

I cannot take any credit for this card at all, the cleaver concept artists at Stampin’ Up!® Head office came up with it, but I was in love with it and just HAD to have one at home.
