It’s been super exciting to have the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin Kit “Hugs From Shelli” here in Australia. One of the big things with the kits is creating alternative projects using the supplies. With a few extra supplies I created 6 projects using only what would have been four cards from the original kit. Here are my alternatives:

The original projects for this kit are below. I look the supplies from each of these and came up with something new.
Let’s take a look at my alternatives, project by project from the cards above.
I created a larger card by adding the card front to Early Espresso card stock and cutting up the envelope to use the great stripes.
From the next card I was able to create two things. I decorated a Mini Pizza Box and then created a mini card. The idea of cutting the envelope and creating a slide in card came from Birgit Seidler a demonstrator in Germany. I love that I got two projects out of the supplies from one card. Here are close ups of each:

I created two more feathers by stamping on Vellum and I repeated the ink splats on some Pool Party card stock to really tie the project together. The Pretty Peacock card base.
The last card was also turned into two projects:
Firstly the card was created using the envelope. It is a simple and easy way to create a new card! The envelopes are so pretty and I really wanted it save it from betting thrown out.
I then created a bookmark / gift tag with the card front and this gives the project new life! By adding it to the Gabel Box its now a lovely gift. The Gabel Box fits a gift card in nicely. You can give someone a Gift Card to buy a book and encourage them to use the gift tag as a bookmark.
