This week’s product of the week is also part of the Bird Ballad Suit and it is The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (DSP). Using DSP is really an easy way to create stunning cards with very little effort. This week I will show you a variety of projects using this stunning paper. I’ll start with simple easy projects and then I’ll step it up as the week goes along to some projects that are what I would say show stoppers.

This DSP is just stunning! I cannot decide what side of the paper to use. One side has some large patters and prints and the reverse has wonderful patterned paper. Check out all the the papers in this video:
Here is the first project I created with this gorgeous paper:

Tips for creating this card:
- Cut your piece of Vellum longer than required and then tuck the flaps (on the sides) underneath a piece of cardstock and add the glue there. This way no glue is showing on the front of the card.
- You could colour with Stampin’ Blends Pear Basic Jewels, or Rhinestone Basic Jewels, or Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets instead of using the Noble Peacock Rhinestones
- Cut your DSP 5mm smaller than the card front to have a border around the front framing the DSP.

I decided to keep the inside of the card simple too, by just adding a strip of the DSP:

I didn’t want to cut into another piece of the DSP so I just added a small strip of the paper to the envelope flap. Glue it down first and then trim off the excess (do this from the back so that you can see where the envelope flap finishes).
Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I hope today’s project has inspired you to get creative and try something new.
Until next time,
Tatiana
