Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. Today I’m sharing a project that I created for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge. We are a group of Artisan Alumni and each month there’s new challenge. This month – February 2023 – we have a sketch challenge. I love sketch challenges because they remove the need to work out a layout, and you can interpret the sketch any way you like!

[Want to recreate this project? You’ll find all the supplies I used at the end of this post, conveniently linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. I’d love to be your demonstrator and appreciate your support—it means the world to me on this creative journey!]
This year I’m trying to use more DSP in my projects and to me this layout was the PERFECT opportunity to show off the fabulous Sale-A-Bration Dandy Designs DSP. I used both sides of the same sheet to create this card.
Card Details:
- Card Base: Calypso Coral cardstock
- Card Front: Dandy Designs DSP (8.5 x 11 cm and 10 x 8.5 cm)
- Sentiment Strip: Basic White (7 x 3/4″)
- Card Insert: Basic White (10 x 14.35 cm)
- Adhere the DSP to the card base.
- Stamp the envelope with flowers from Full Of Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Basic White cardstock. Colour using Stampin’ Blends (or your favourite colouring medium). The colours I used were Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, and Shaded Spruce.
- Fussy cut out the image.
- Stamp the sentiment “always grateful for you” from Full Of Love stamp set onto the sentiment strip and then flag the right end with the Banners Pick A Punch.
- Die cut out a rectangle (approximately 8 x 4.5 cm) from Vellum using the Deckled Rectangles Dies. Adhere this over the DSP to the bottom left of the DSP on the card front.
- Add a strip of Tear & Tape where the flower image will go and use that to add some Gold Simply Elegant Trim. Add the Flower image over the top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Slide the sentiment in behind the flowers a little bit and adhere.
- Finish off with some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels.

To complete the card, I stamped the same Envelope Flower image from Full Of Love stamp set on to the envelope and inside the card on the card insert. I added a strip of the same DSP (10 x 1.5cm) to add some colour inside too.
You can join the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Challenge too by creating a project, sharing on social media, and tagging us (@stampinfancyfriday). We would love for you to join in the fun!
