Sniff sniff, welcome to the LAST Go For Greece Blog Hop. You are visiting Tatiana in Australia. I have had an incredible year being a part of Kylie Bertucci’s Go For Greece Training group. I have learnt so much and really developed as a creative business owner. Joining Stampin’ Up! was one of the best decision of my life (married my hubby and having our kids was THE best) and joining this group is the next best decision. The aim of the group is to learn from top demonstrators who have had success with Stampin’ Up!®. Our goal is to achieve the incentive trip, this time to Greece in July 2019. I have not earn the trip, but honestly my goal never was to earn the trip, it was to learn how to improve my business and this has definitely been achieved.
The group is filled with so many wonderful demonstrators and I have loved being a part of this supporting community. It can be challenging when you want to turn Stampin’ Up!® into a business that supports your family and not knowing where to start and that you are going about things the right way can be confusing and overwhelming on your own. Part of our training is blog hopping!
To end this round of blog hops I thought that I would share with you a card using one of my favourite bundles from the 2018 Holiday catalogue:
All supplies used in this card are shown at the end of this post in the thumbnails. These are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
To create this card:
- Prepare card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock
- Prepare card front from Balmy Blue cardstock 95mm x 138.5mm
- On the card front stamp the blizzard image from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set using Balmy Blue ink. (TIP: if your image isn’t stamping like the preview on the stamp case blot your ink pad – the ink pad is too saturated. Use a paper towel to lightly blot).
- Then using Pacific Point ink stamp the wind flow stamp followed by the snow dots in Whisper White Craft ink.
- Cut out some snowflakes using the Blizzards Thinlits Die (TIP: use the Precision Base Plate to get a better cut).
- Cut out the large label from the Stitched Labels Framelits.
- Spritz the large label with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (TIP: 3/4 fill the Stampin’ Spritzer with rubbing alcohol and then poor in some Shimmer Paint but not completely full, shake before use). Allow to dry. As seen in the photo above this gives some glitter to the cardstock.
- Stamp the snowflakes are unique sentiment from the Beautiful Blizzard stamp set in Pacific Point on the large stitched label.
- To assemble:
- Adhere the card front to the card base.
- Attached some Silver Metallic Thread to sit behind the stitched label. (TIP: I found using Tear & Tape Adhesive works really well for this and it will be covered up by the sentiment label).
- Adhere the stitched label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add some snowflakes, with some sitting behind the label.
As I like to do, I also stamped a Whisper White C6 envelope to make it coordinating.
Thank you so much to Kylie for organising such an amazing training. Thank you to all the demonstrators who have spoken to our group. Every talk was so inspiring. If you are a demonstrator and would like to learn more about running your own Stampin’ Up!® business I would highly recommend Kylie’s training. You can sign up by clicking this link.
Below you will find the list of demonstrators who are blogging with me today. They all have wonderful projects to share with you, please take some time to visit their pages. Happy Blog Hopping! You have been visiting Tatiana Tobin in Australia!
