Welcome to the Go For Greece Blog Hop. You are visiting Tatiana in Australia. Today’s blog post I combining the blog hop with an entry into the Global Design Project #143 Love It Live It Share It theme.
Firstly a bit about the Go For Greece Blog Hope: we are a group of demonstrators from all around the world that are taking part in training organised by fellow demonstrator Kylie Bertucci. The aim of the group is to learn from top demonstrators who have had success with Stampin’ Up!®. Our goal is to achieve the incentive trip, this time to Greece in July 2019. The group is filled with so many wonderful demonstrators and I have loved being a part of this supporting community. It can be challenging when you want to turn Stampin’ Up!® into a business that supports your family and not knowing where to start and that you are going about things the right way can be confusing and overwhelming on your own. Part of our training is blog hopping!
For the Global Design Project Theme Challenge we are encouraged to show a project that shows what we “live for stamping and creativity”. For me this is coming up with new ideas and fun ways to use new products. This is exactly what I have done with today’s project.
So without any further ado I’m really excited to be sharing with you my card today. I’m not entirely sure where inspiration hit for this one, but I was looking at the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and the lattice panel made me think of a garden and I thought about the new Leaf Ribbon and it went on from there.
I do think the Fairy Celebration stamp set goes so well here. I’m thrilled to be using the stamp after a bit of a break. To create this card:
- Prepare card base in Balmy Blue card stock
- Prepare card front in Whisper White 10mm x 143.5mm
- Take the lattice panel from the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper and colour it in Early Espresso. I used my Aqua Painter but it would be much easier to use the Sponge Brayer.
- Stamp in Jet Black Stazon Ink the fairy on a toadstool and the little flying fairy (three of these) on some Shimmery White card stock.
- Colour the fairy on a toadstool and the wings of the flying fairy. The colour I used are listed below.
- Fussy cut the images out, just cut out the wings of the little flying fairy to create butterflies.
- Using the Sponge Brayer, colour the Whisper White card front using Call Me Clover (lower 1/4 to a 1/3) and the Balmy Blue to create a sky and grass effect.
- Cut lengths of the Leaf Ribbon and weave them through the lattice Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.
- To assemble:
- Attach the lattice piece with the leaf ribbon to the card front using the Tear & Tape adhesive. (TIP: attach the Tear & Tape to the card front and then press the lattice piece on top.
- Using Tear & Tape attach the butterflies and fairy.
- Using Stampin’ Dimensionals attach the card front to the card base
I’m am so delighted with how this card has turned out! Thank you for visiting my part of the world wide web. If you have come from the Global Design Project site and feel like some web surfing, below you will find the list of demonstrators who are blog hopping with me today. They all have wonderful projects to share with you, please take some time to visit their pages. Happy Blog Hopping! You have been visiting Tatiana Tobin in Australia!

Thank you Kate!
A great use of that leaf ribbon Tatiana. Love your card x
Thank you Shelly!
Love the trellis that you created for the fairy, Tatiana. Such a pleasure to be hopping with you. (((HUGS))) across the waters
Thank you Angie! Trellis! That’s the word! I totally forgot what its called! Hugs to you too.
I’m following this hop, not going to Greece, ( see my tears?). But, I’m thrilled for each and everyone of you going! Tania, I was wondering what you thought of coloring the toadstool fairy wings with Wink of Stella? With the other colors, I’d like to make my fairy wings translucent? Or use Wink of Stella on Vellum for wings? I don’t have this stamp set yet, the end of the month, I’ll order it and the ribbon. I have the SP. I’m so excited to be CASE this card! Thank you so much for sharing. If you send me a way to do it, I’d gladly send you a picture when I make it!
Hi Gloria, thanks for following this blog hop. I don’t think I’ll make it to Greece either (sharing tears with you), but I’ve learnt so much from this group that I don’t feel so bad. Wink of Stella sounds like a brilliant idea on the toadstool and the wings, I’ve done that in the past. This is one of my well loved stamp sets. I’m so excited to see your CASEd version, you can email it to me at stamping@tatianacreative.com.au thank you.
Great card, Tatiana. I love your use of colour and all the different elements. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much Libby!
