Global Creative INKspirations – 2019 Holiday Catalogue

Hello Everybody! Welcome to my blog!
It’s a very exciting blog post today – it’s the Global Creative INKspirations blog hop and today we are welcoming Danielle to our team!!!! This month we are looking at Holiday catalogue. We did agree on a non Christmas theme for this month, but I’m a bit of a goose and I’ve gone with Christmas. LOL. That’s okay, I can never have enough Christmas Cards. I’m continuing my week using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set. My card today was inspired by a card made by Amanda Mertz in 2014.

Details of this card:

• Card Base: Crumb Cake.
• Card Front: Four Whisper White stitched squares (472 x 42mm), Christmas trees stamped and punched in Granny Apple Green, Costal Cabana, Bermuda Bay and Poppy Parade.
• For the Christmas Trees, stamp the outline image in the coordinating colour as the card stock, then stamp the fill in leaves in the coordinating colour but stamped off.
• Stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede onto the card base.
• TIP: use the Stamp Cleaning Pad to clean your stamps after, particularly after using Poppy Parade. This works best went you do it immediately after in removing the stain from the red ink.

I coordinated the inside of the card and the envelope by stamping the same tree:

You can make a variation where the squares aren’t all lined up:

I love the fun bright colours in this project against the Crumb Cake.
