I was very excited to see the Sketch Challenge last night when I visited the Global Design Project blog. It looked like some fun. There were a lot of card made by the design team that I would love to CASE but I don’t own the required stamp sets. The two that really stood out for me where Shawn de Oliveira‘s (who’s card would be perfect for my sister-in-law who just got a kitten) and Connie Collins‘. They both use the Falling Flowers Stamp Set which is on my wish list (well technically Connie didn’t use that stamp set but the coordinating paper).
Enough about other designers. Lets see what I came up with. I’m thinking a lot about Easter at the moment. On Friday I’m running a Easter and Friendship Card Making and will be doing an Easter themed Make-and-Take at a workshop on the weekend. That settled my theme for me, and from the provided sketch I just thought a peek-a-boo card would work well. Here’s the sketch:
And this is what I’m entering into the GDP078 Sketch Challenge:

I came up with a number of different versions of this same card and I couldn’t decide which ones to make, so I made them all:
All three are peek-a-boo cards. Its very hard to quite capture the “magic” moment when the window changes. You can see in the next picture of the inside image covering up the front image.
Hope you liked these cards of mine. Don’t forget to visit the GDP078 page to see all the entries.
Happy Stamping Adventure,
