Friends Are Like Seashells Customer Cards

Friends Are Like Seashells Customer Cards

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog! Happy Mini Catalogue Day!!! I’m so excited that you can finally purchase from this wonderful catalogue. It’s twice the happiness for me because it’s also my birthday today! And good things like to come in threes – it’s also the start of Sale-A-Bration. Choose a FREE Sale-A-Bration product with every $90 AUD or $180 AUD you spend (before shipping and handling).

Today I’m going to share the card I made to send to all my customers with their copies of the 2021 January – June Mini Catalogue & the Sale-A-Bration Brochure:

Card Details:

  • Card Base: Very Vanilla Thick
  • Card Front: Blushing Bride (9.5 x 13.8 cm) and Sand & Sea DSP (9.2 x 13.5 cm)
  • Die Cut: Pearlescent Specialty Paper (10.5 x 14.8 cm)
  • Seashell with sentiment: Very Vanilla
  • Card Insert: Very Vanilla (10 x 14.5 cm)
  • Adhere the DSP card front to the Blushing Bride piece and then adhere to the card base.
  • Emboss the Pearlised Specialty paper piece using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and then run it through with the big die from the Seaside Seashells Dies. Add to the card base.
  • Stamp the large seashell in stamped off Rococo Rose on Very Vanilla cardstock. Stamp in Soft Suede the sentiment on top. Then either fussy cut or use the large die to cut out (then trim off the extra bits). Place it into the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder, lining it up with the corresponding seashell and emboss.
  • Put some Tear & Tape where the shell will go and add some of the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. I used both. Add the seashell on top using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The Pearlescent Specialty Paper is so shiny and so pretty. It really embosses so well. The shine doesn’t fully come up in photographs.

The piece of DSP that I used from the Sand & Sea DSP pack gradients from Seaside Spray to Blushing Bride in the middle to So Saffron. I was able to make two versions of this card. The Blushing Bride & Seaside Spray and the Blushing Bride & So Saffron. Which one do you like best?

I found the front of the card to be quite heavy with all the layers. To balance it I added a card insert in Very Vanilla. It gives a nice subtle border inside. To finish I added a left over strip of the DSP. I didn’t want to waste any of this gorgeous paper.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.

Bye for now!
Tatiana
