I am in love with Costal Cabana (don’t tell my husband lol). I really love pairing it with Highland Heather and Berry Burst. I really think those colours really work well together so I just had to make some birthday cards.
To create these cards:
- Card base in Costal Cabana.
- Cut card front in Whisper White 90mm x 133.5mm
- Cut card front mount in Berry Burst 94mm x 137.5mm
- Run the Whisper White card front through the Big Shot using the Lovely Floral Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Watercolour the floral design.
- Cut out the stitch framelits from Stitches Labels Framelits in Berry Burst card stock TIP: cut these from the centre of the card front mounts as you will cover the gap up, this makes the card very economical.
- Stamp in Versamark the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set. Use Silver Embossing Powder and heat to set.
- Assemble the card by adhering the card front to the mount and to the card base. Attach the Label Framelits using Stampin’ Dimensional and add some Mini Silver Sequin or Silver Metallic Thread behind.
- For something extra, run the envelope flap through the Big Shot in the Lovely Floral Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.
These elegant card will be perfect for any lovely ladies in your life!
