I just couldn’t resist making another version of this card for my lovely customers who have placed orders with me during September 2018. I did change it a bit by add some ribbon and Shimmer Paint!!!! Love the shimmer paint.
All supplies used in this card are shown at the end of this post in the thumbnails. These are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
To create this card:
- Prepare card base in Costal Cabana.
- Prepare card fronts in Whisper White one 100mm x 143.5mm and another 90mm x 133.5mm
- Run the smaller Whisper White card front through the Big Shot in the Lovely Floral Dynamic Texture Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Watercolour the embossed image using Aqua Painters and Stampin’ Pads. Allow to dry.
- Add some rubbing alcohol into the Stampin’ Spritzer (about 3/4 full) and then add some Shimmer Paint to it (don’t make it full). Shake the spritzer (with the pump lid on) before spritzing the watercolored image.
- Attach the Bermuda Bay Mini Stripped Ribbon to the front. (TIP: using Tear & Tape Adhesive on the back).
- Attach the floral card front to the other piece of Whisper White card stock. I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to smooth the warp in the paper from the watercolouring.
- Attach the card front to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I also created a matching envelope by running the back flap of the envelope with the same Embossing Folder and watercoloring the background. I do love to create matching envelopes!
