Butterfly Brilliance for Colour INKspirations Challenge #CI140

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. It’s another colour challenge with the Colour INKspiration Challenge which was inspired by the image below:

Here is my project:

Card Details:

• Card Base: Basic White Thick cardstock
• Card Front: Petal Pink cardstock (3.3 x 27.9 cm), Soft Sea Foam cardstock (3.3 x 27.9 cm), and So Saffron cardstock (3.3 x 27.9 cm)
• Butterfly: Easily Espresso cardstock
• Card Insert: Basic White cardstock (10 x 14.35 cm)

• Start by sticking together the three strip cardstock for the card front. I used full lengths of each colour so that there was space to use the magnets on the Stamparatus when stamping.
• Place the card front into the Stamparatus and hold down with magnets, one at the top and one at the bottom. Position the Butterfly Brilliance stamp between the magnets.
• Use some Embossing Buddy and then stamp the butterflies in Versamark Ink. Clear heat emboss.
• Brush over each butterfly with some Clear Wink of Stella.
• To make the butterflies pop a bit – add some shadowing to the bottom with a Water Painter and some Early Espresso ink.
• Cut this down to be 14.25 cm in height. Adhere to the card base.
• Die cut out a detailed butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies in Early Espresso cardstock.
• Use some Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon and then add the butterfly over the top.
• To finish off add some Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels.

To finish off the card, I stamped the butterflies onto the envelop in Versamark Ink and added some of the left over card front to the inside of the card.
