I’m catching up on my blog. The school holidays have really thrown me out of routine and then as life does there was so many other things that needed my attention once the kids were back in school. I’m getting back into the swing of things and I wanted to show you the card I gave my customers who purchased in June. It features the Stitched Nested Label Dies which was my last product of the week.

I just really adore orchids and when I saw the Rare Blessings stamp set in the Annual catalogue I knew it was a must for my collection. This stamp set has so many beautiful sentiments. Perfect for encouragement and friendship.
Tips to create this card:
- To create the texture on the stitched banner, use the stamp from the Rare Blessings stamp set. Stamp and stamp off on the same piece of card stock to create more texture.
- When water colouring use the Stazon Ink Pad as this won’t bleed into your colour.
- Press your ink pad onto a clear block to “pick up” colour and use it as your pallet.
