Artisan Showcase – Flowers of Friendship Bundle

Hello everybody! Welcome to my blog!
Today I have the great pleasure to share with you my next Artisan Showcase cards. This month I was assigned the Flowers of Friendship Bundle plus the Banners Pick A Punch. When creating for this showcase I wanted to make the cards bright and fun. To me this means going for my favourite colours – Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape, & Bermuda Bay.

Many Thanks Card Details:

Card Base: Basic Black
Card Front: Basic Black (9.5 x 13.8 cm) & Basic White (9.2 x 13.5 cm)
Coloured Strips: Daffodil Delight (3/4″ wide), Mango Melody (1/2″ wide), Melon Mambo (3/4″ wide), Gorgeous Grape (1/2″ wide), & Bermuda Bay (1″ wide) – all 10cm long
Sentiment Label: Basic White (6 x 3 cm)

Start by punching out the flowers from a scrap piece of cardstock and then use that as a template to place the two flowers and two leaves from the Flowers Of Friendship stamp set. Mount these four stamps onto one block. Stamp five sets on some Vellum using Versamark ink. Then add the White embossing powder and heat set. Punch out.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the little flower onto the big flower.
Punch both ends of each coloured strip using the Banners Pick A Punch. Then trim them so that they are not the same length. TIP: I lined them up on the Basic White card front first. Keep the off cuts.
On the longer coloured strips stamp the line of small flowers. Offsetting each row. Stamp in the coordinating coloured ink.
Adhere the Basic White card front onto the Basic Black card front. Line up the colour strips and adhere them down.
Adhere the card front onto the card base using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add the flowers on to the card. Add one flower onto each coloured strip then add in the leaves. TIP: use Mini Glue Dots.
To finish the flowers add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel coloured in with a dark Stampin’ Blend to coordinate with the coloured strips.
For the sentiment, stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then die cut out using the Messages Die. TIP: line up the sentiment behind the area you feel is best and then die cut out.
Add the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals

To complete this card I stamped the same mini flowers lines onto the envelope flap. Inside the card I added a piece of Basic White cardstock and the left over bits of the coloured strips.

Thank You For Everything Card Details:

Card Base: Basic Black
Card Front: Basic Black (9.5 x 13.8 cm) & Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (9.2 x 13.5 cm)
Sentiment Label: Basic Black (6 x 3 cm)

Start by creating the watercolour background on the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I started in the middle with Melon Mambo ink. I like to pick up the ink from the pad by squeezing the pad and then opening. Start with water down ink in and setting with Heat Tool. Add Gorgeous Grape & Bermuda Bay to the left. Add Mango Melody & Daffodil Delight to the right. Keep adding layers of colour and drying with the Heat Tool.
Once the watercolour card front is dry, adhere it to the Basic Black card front and adhere them to the card base using Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use the template from the pervious card to place the two flowers and two leaves from the Flowers Of Friendship stamp set and mount these four stamps onto one block. Stamp five sets on some Vellum using Versamark ink. Then add the White embossing powder and heat set. Punch out.
Use Mini Glue Dots to adhere the little flower onto the big flower.
Arrange the flowers over the watercoloring and adhere with Mini Glue Dot. Add coloured in Rhinestones just like the previous card.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark and white heat emboss it.
Die cut out by placing behind the label you want in the Messages Die.
Add to the card with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish the card stamp the large flower onto the envelope flap. Inside the card I added a vellum flower.
