Hello everybody! Welcome to my blog!
Today I’m blog hopping with lovely demonstrators who are also part of Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Program. We support each other and learn about how to run a Stampin’ Up! business. Once a month we get together to blog hop to inspire each other and other crafters. Today I’m sharing a project which I made featuring the Sale-A-Bration Hostess stamp set Little Ladybug (my favourite):
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Card Details:
- Card Base: So Saffron.
- Card Front: White Vellum (10.2 x 14.7 cm), So Saffron (9.4 x 13.6 cm), and Whisper White (9.1 x 13.3 cm). TIP: Emboss the White Vellum with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder before cutting it to size.
- On to the Whisper White card front stamp the Bokeh Dots stamp in So Saffron ink with some Blushing Bride ink sponged onto some of the circles using a Sponge Dauber. TIP: use the Stamparatus if you would like exact placement of this stamp.
- Stamp the sentiment and the dandelion onto the Whisper White card front using Stazon Ink.
- Stamp the ladybug that has it’s wings spread out onto some scrap Whisper White cardstock and then colour using the Watercolour Pencils. Blend with Blender Pens. Add some Wink of Stella to the wings for some shimmer. Die cut out with coordinating dies.
- Assemble the card buy adding the White Vellum to the card base first (TIP: don’t place adhesive to the edges and it will show). Adhere the Whisper White card front to the So Saffron card front together first before adding to the card base.
- Add the ladybug with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I really love the shimmer the Wink of Stella gives to the wings.
To complete the project I added a dandelion to the back of the card as well as the inside.
