Merriest Moments Christmas Card for Global Creative INKspirations

Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. Today is my last blog hop with the GCI team. It has been a wonderful journey with these lovely ladies but all good things must come to an end. For our last blog hop together we will be sharing with you all Christmas themed projects for the ever quickly approaching holiday! I decided to use the stunning Merriest Moments bundle from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalogue. My card is completely cased from Sandy McCullough with some tweaks to make it my own. Card Details:

• Card Base: Basic White Thick
• Card Front: Basic White embossed with the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder
• Sentiment Label: Cork Specialty Paper die cut with the Merriest Frames Dies stitched rectangle die

• Adhere the card front to the card base.
• Onto the Cork Specialty Paper white heat emboss the sentiment. Adhere to the card front
• Stamp the flowers from the two Merriest Moments stamp set in Poppy Parade. Onto the smaller flower centre add the dots and Heat & Stick Powder to add Folded Leafing. In Just Jade stamp the leaves. Die cut the flowers and leaves. Assemble with Mini Glue Dots.
• Tie a bow with the Gold Simply Elegant Trim and add to the back of the flower with a Mini Glue Dot.
• Adhere the flower to the card with Stampin’ Dimentionals. This will give space for the bow knot.
• To finish add some Wonderful Gems

As I like to say, no card is complete without the inside of the card and the envelope decorated too. I stamped the smaller of the two flowers.

I also couldn’t decide if I should use the red Wonderful Gems or the gold ones so I made two versions. Which one do you prefer?
