Hello everybody!
I’m very excited to be taking part of the Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop today. I didn’t get to participate last month because we moved house and I hadn’t set up the craft room yet. So thrilled to be here this month. I’m learning so much from the training program. One thing I learn from this training in years past was to send customer appreciation cards. Our blog hop theme is sharing cards we have created for our customers. I send my out monthly, and this is the card I created for my customers who shopped with me in February 2021:
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Card Details:
- Card Base: Mango Melody
- Card Front: Butterfly Bijou DSP (3” x 4” twice)
- Card Insert: Basic White (10 x 14.3 cm)
- Mount the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set onto the Stamparatus and then stamp the front of the card base using Versamark Ink. Clear Heat emboss it. TIP: I found the Stamparatus invaluable when using this stamp set, you can also use the Clear Block F.
- Layer the two pieces of DSP on top of each other. I’ve cut the piece from the same piece of DSP and flipped one. Adhere to the card front more to the top.
- On a piece of White Vellum, stamp the butterflies using Versamark. This time heat set with Heat & Stick Powder. Once set cover the butterflies in Gilded Leafing and remove the excess. This creates beautiful golden butterflies. Die cut out using the coordinating die. I created multiples of this card and used most of the butterflies.
- Die cut out the coordinating detailed butterflies from Vellum. Match them up and adhere the detailed layer over the top of the Gilded Leafing butterflies. I used some Stampin’ Seal + to adhere.
- Cut a length of the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon that’s about three times as wide as the butterfly you are using. Layer it onto the card. TIP: add some Stampin’ Seal + to the card first then layer the ribbon. You can lift it and reposition as much as you need to. Add the butterfly on top.
- Colour five white Resin Hearts using a Stampin’ Blends Marker in Mango Melody (I did both light and dark hearts). Add them to the card to complete.
I really love that sheet of DSP. I basically designed the whole card around it. I wanted it to be featured. The Butterfly Brilliance Bundle is an early release from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. The DSP – Butterfly Bijou is a special release only available while supplies last and it is stunning. I highly recommend purchasing it now before it’s too late.
I love to decorate the inside of my cards as well as the envelopes. I couldn’t throw any of this stunning DSP so added a strip to the bottom of the card insert. For the envelope I stamped the butterflies in Mango Melody along the left hand side.
I also like to share some extra appreciation to customers who spend over $50 in their order with me. In February I offered a packet of the adorable Resin Hearts as a customer thank you gift. I like to decorate the gift too. Here I have the butterfly stamped on Mango Melody in Mango Melody ink and then a Vellum detailed die cut on top.
Now please hop on over to see what other demonstrators who also taking the training with me have created for their customers. There is going to be so much inspiration for sure:
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.
Bye for now!
Tatiana
