Back before COVID-19 took over our lives I was enjoying my gym routine and my favourite part was the treadmill because I was able to watch Jennifer McGuire on youtube. Definitely makes jogging a LOT easier. LOL. Today’s card I combined two of her videos into one. The first inspired the background from Jennifer’s Rainbow Scrap Backgrounds and the second Partial Die Cutting Tips.

Card Details:
- Card Base: Whisper White Thick
- Butterflies: Whisper White and Vellum
- Create a partial die cut using the butterfly outline die from the Butterfly Beauty Dies.
- Trim down the die to your card front.
- Stamp the sentiment in the partial die cut area.
- Fully die cut the same die three more times. Layer this underneath the partial die cut version. I found it best to adhere with drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and doing one layer at a time and trimming each layer before adhering the next one.
- Die cut from Whisper White the other butterfly die.
- Impress that second die on to some Vellum and then cut out the outline of the die. The idea here is not to have a Vellum die cut but to have a solid Vellum piece to adhere to the back. Adhere this to the Whisper White version (so the details are now in Vellum) and then adhere this to the others. Trim.
- Rainbow Background:
- I adhered rainbow strips which I already had lying around. Some strips are wider than others. This doesn’t matter.
- I adhered to a piece of Whisper White 10.5 x 14.8 cm
- Inside the card: Because the card front is quite heavy I adhered a piece of Whisper White 10 x 14.3 cm inside the card to give it some more weight.
I completed this project by embossing the die onto the envelope.
