This week I looked at:
How to Colour Using Stampin’ Blends
The live video discusses different cardstock options and appropriate inks for the stamping. I used the same colours and stamp set as I did in Parts 1 & 2 so that you can compare the results. Again I created the same card using the different options:
All supplies used in this card are shown at the end of this post in the thumbnails. These are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
Watch the Facebook Live replay to see the different options and methods to colour with Stampin’ Blends:
Here are close ups of each of the defferent combinations explored during the live video:
1. Stampin’ Blends on Whisper White Thick cardstock and Memento Tuxedo Black stamping.
2. Stampin’ Blends on Whisper White Thick cardstock and matching ink stamping.
3. Stampin’ Blends on Shimmery White cardstock and Memento Tuxedo Black stamping.
4. Stampin’ Blends on Shimmery White cardstock and matching ink stamping.
Each combination gives a different look (this doesn’t quite come through in the photos but it does in life). Shimmery White cardstock give more darker look to the colouring compared to the Whisper White cardstock. The cards created with matching ink for the stamped images changes the look completely! Which one is your favourite?
I’m taking a pause on my Facebook Lives for the first two weeks in November 2023. Make sure you like my Facebook Page so that you can get notifications on when I will be going live. The lives will resume and will become Mystery Stamping! Looking forward to you joining me.
