Welcome to another creative inspiration. Today’s card was inspired by a pin I pinned in Pinterest and when i saw the Time For Tea stamp set in the new Annual Catalogue I knew I will be CASEing this card.
To create this card:
- Prepare card base in Crumb Cake
- Prepare card front in Crumb Cake 100mm x 148.5mm
- Stamp the tea cup and saucer from the Time For Tea stamp set in Crumb Cake on the card front. TIP: start with the cup I have coloured and then work up and down then do the ones to the left and right.
- Add some shadows underneath each tea cup in saucer using crumb cake ink and a Blenders Pen.
- White Wash one tea cup and saucer using an Aqua Painter and White Craft Ink. Let dry.
- Add colour on top of the White Wash using the Blenders Pen and Lovely Lipstick ink.
- Stamp in Versamark on top of the coloured in tea cup and saucer aligning up to the original stamp.
- Sprinkle a mixture of Lovely Lipstick and Gold Embossing over the Versamark and heat set.
- Adhere the card front to the card base.
I just love how this card has turned out! I particularly love the dimension that the shading gives. Just makes them pop out a bit more. I also love how combining the Gold and Lovely Lipstick Embossing powder really give that coloured tea cup and saucer really stand out.
